Couponing is all the rage right now. If you want to participate in this trend follow these tips towards success.

  1. Use coupons with sales. Save them until you see the item on sale for even more savings.
  2. Stack them. Pair manufacturer coupons with store coupons for more savings.
  3. Learn the lingo. Know couponing vocabulary. Yes it really exists.
  4. Smaller is better. The smaller the size of the product, the more savings.
  5. Trade coupons. Join a coupon trading group.
  6. Print on-line coupons. Find web site that offer coupons.
  7. Organize. Make it easy to use the coupons.
  8. Find a store that doubles. A longer trip is worth the savings.
  9. Don’t always use coupons. Sometimes generics and store brands offer the best savings.
  10. Read up on how to use coupons.

    These are great tips! I always try to make sure the time spent finding, organizing and using the coupon is worth it. If $5 will cure an issue worth $200 of your time, just do it! Using coupons is about saving money, but it shouldn’t be at the expense of saving your sanity!
