This week we are going to move back into your bathroom. Having an organized space will help you get ready more quickly in the morning and feel more relaxed and regenerated.
Day 1. What’s under the sink? It’s time to find out. Clean out the cabinet. Eliminate anything old and dusty. Move the most used items to the front. Corral like items into containers, so you can easily find what you need.
Day 2. Eliminate the “extras”. Most bathrooms are not big enough for knickknacks or extra decor. Decluttering what is not essential will help to create a simple, calming effect in the space.
Day 3. How many hair dryers and curling or flat irons do you have? How many do you use? Move the overflow to another space or get rid of them completely. Make space for what you use and make it convenient to get to and put back.
Day 4. Evaluate you bath or shower area. What’s needed? What’s not needed? How are things stored? I recently bought a Shower Shelf and love it. It’s an extra shelf inside my shower to hold all the bottles of stuff.
Day 5. Now that you have practice organizing your bathroom move to another bath in your house. You will be able to do the same exercise, but in much less time.
A little effort will go along way. Enjoy your newly decluttered space.
