I am back from my travels. . . better late than never. . . It’s time to get organized.
Spring is here – it’s time for Spring cleaning! I think that means it’s time to organize some small areas/inventory that you may not consider clutter. By doing this organizing exercise you will be able to tackle Spring cleaning your home more quickly and efficiently.
Day 1. Gather all your cleaning supplies together. Consolidate those almost empty 4 bottles of glass cleaner or whatever it is. All those “almost empties” take up a lot of space. Examine your mops, brooms, dusters and rags. What do you use? What needs to be replaced? Start fresh by purchasing new equipment and products if needed.
Day 2. Gather all those socks with holes, things that need gluing, etc. By taking a little time to tackle all these small projects. Move them from the clutter pile to usable items.
Day 3. Check the inventory in your first aid kits. Do you keep one in your car? in the kitchen? in the bathroom? It’s a good idea to have a few, but more important that you have what you need, when you need it.
Day 4 and 5. This may take a while, so take two days. But do it! Now’s the time to return all those borrowed items to your neighbors, family and friends. Fill your car, spend the day, apologize if necessary. You’ll feel so much better once it’s done and your house will be cleared of the clutter.
Now don’t you feel better!
