Get Organized in 2012 – Week 15

This is going to be fun! This week we are back in the kitchen. A few simple, quick decluttering exercises can make a difference. Let’s get started.

Week 15

Day 1. Examine all your pot lids. Do you have a pot to match each one? Eliminate what doesn’t have a partner.

Day 2. Toss old packets of seasonings in your pantry.

Day 3. How many measuring spoons do you own? How many do you need? It’s time to let go of what you don’t use.

Day 4. Spend a few minutes checking expiration dates in your pantry. Reach way in the back. That’s probably where the old stuff lives.

Day 5. Declutter your cookbooks. This may be hard. Keep only what you have space for. The kitchen is where you prepare food, not a library.
