Get Organized in 2012 – Week 17

This week we are going with the theme of “Variety is the Spice of Life” and while we jump around your house and attack pockets of clutter and create pockets of organization.

Week 17

Day 1. Grab you most recent pile of paper and sort through it. Get it done – Act on items – Stop the madness! There don’t you feel better?

Day 2. Declutter a drawer or shelf of craft supplies. What’s old? What don’t you use any longer? Make this space storage for one type of items and put all of that item there.

Day 3. Clean out your laundry area. Separate the soaps and softeners that you use with the ones that you don’t. Get rid of any extra stuff. Tidy up the area so you will enjoy doing the laundry.

Day 4. Eliminate any board games that you no longer enjoy. Don’t forget the one’s with enough pieces missing that you can no longer play them.

Day 5. Have a scavenger hunt in your home. Gather all the pens and pencils you can find. Pick a few locations throughout your house where they will live and store them in cute convenient containers.

Have you had enough variety? Can you spy those pockets of organization?
