Do you ever wake up in the morning feeling like you have a million things to-do. Is that every morning?
Take time to pause for a moment to write down a to-do list.
First, you will learn is that you don’t have a million things to-do (maybe a thousand). Making a list is an instant visual to show you what needs to get done. Prioritize your list, group similar tasks together, like calls to make, or errands to run. Decide if anything can be delegated to someone else or can wait for a future date.
Second, it will clear your mind of all that stuff running through it so you can focus on one-thing-at-a-time. Your list will be waiting for you as you complete one task and move on to the next. As you move throughout our day and think of new to-dos, add them to the list.
You will be able to focus on each item individually instead of trying to multi-task all day long. Make sure that you check-off/scratch-out each task as it is completed as a little celebration of moving forward with your day.
