I’ll See You at the Library

So Old School! No one goes to the library any more.

But, today I am studying for a test I’ll be taking tomorrow. I need to get away from my house and all the distractions that are there – No computer, no snacking, no phone. I’ll even resort to laundry or cleaning when I am procrastinating on something.  I know a coffee shop is the same for me – too much going on. I need a controlled environment where I can really concentrate and I can get my cramming done. If I don’t find/create this controlled environment the studying will linger all day and I don’t want to do that.

I know my library has a study room. No kids. Study carols (remember those? Very old school) and lots of light. I think it will be the perfect spot for me to concentrate.

Sometimes you just need to find the right situation and today, for me it’s the library! They open at 10 am. I’ll be there!

  1. For me the coffee shop does it. I need a certain amount of activity around me to concentrate well. Counter-intuitive, I guess, but it works for me. Enjoy the library!

  2. Whatever works for you is the right thing. I am trying to enjoy the journey, but right now I just want to finish. Thanks Juli.
