When You Don’t Have Enough Space to Recycle

I try to recycle as much as possible. But I don’t have any space to store another bin in my kitchen to drop the recyclables. So I end up making a small pile on my counter and walking the pile to the large recycling bin outside several times a day. This is not optimal.

It has two recycling compartments and one large trash compartment. Although this unit is taller than the average trash can,  my current trash can sits in the corner in the kitchen – not inside of a cabinet, so the extra height is not an issue for me. At $100, it’s a comparable price to a stainless steel trash can.

What do you think? Should I try it out?
