We recently sat through the Sandy storm. We knew it was coming, so on top of preparing for the storm, we planned a day outside. Just before the storm moved in, we spent the day driving down a country road, hiking up Sugarloaf Mountain, wine tasting and dining at the brew pub.
Here we are at the top of the mountain.
Beautiful day! Can’t believe that there’s a storm brewing just off the shore.
look at the decorated tree that we came upon on the hike. It’s kind of pretty, even though it’s made of the trash picked up on the trail. An unusual way to recycle.
We stopped at a winery for a taste.
Checkout this roadside stand. So country and so cute.
Check out the sign.
I am so glad that we looked ahead at the weather forecast and planned a day outside. Some fresh air before being trapped inside listening to wind and rain.
